The work below starts from raw EPROM dumps and ends with firmware that boots under emulation, one chapter per subsystem : memory map, peripherals, display, floppy. Research notes on modular AI and micro-transformers as plugins, a separate track, are collected under Research.

Reverse engineering a legendary 90s sampler. From raw EPROM dumps to a working emulator that boots the firmware, loads 191KB of OS from a virtual floppy disk into RAM, and watches it come alive. Eight chapters.
